When the metallic pigments are agitated with a paintbrush or roller, they twist, gather, and separate to catch the light in different ways. Solvents like denatured alcohol can be used to drag and disperse the pigments throughout the epoxy surface as it dries. A leaf blower may even be used for certain effects. We can also splotch and blend with several colors to create an even more original design.
